Deputy Circuit Clerk for Kanawha County Commission

  • Deputy Circuit Clerk position available.

    Applicants must have a high school diploma and should have at least two years of office experience.

    Job description: Deputy Circuit Clerk works directly with the public and with attorneys to facilitate court case initiation and court case management.

    Job duties: Include data entry, and the performance of other administrative and clerical functions as directed.

    Annual salary of $26,000. The successful applicant will be subject to a Criminal Background Check and drug screening and may be disqualified from employment based on results.

Kanawha County Metro 911’s Information Technology Department is seeking a GIS Administrator. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Technology. The GISAdministrator performs analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning, design, installation, administration, and on-going maintenance of Metro 911’s GIS infrastructure and data. This position will coordinate with Information Technology staff resources to keep the infrastructure updated and performing optimally, and to provide user support. Additionally, the GIS Administrator will work with internal and vendor resources to prepare data for use in various systems used by Metro 911 staff, Emergency Management, and Responder Agencies, including the Computer-Aided Dispatch system, online mapping applications, and mobile platforms. Work is reviewed through reports, conferences, and system effectiveness.
